Residents at The Pines are involved in regular activities and trips to local attractions within the surrounding areas. A firm favourite is a trip to the seaside, where residents are able to enjoy the fresh sea air and of course, a large portion of fish and chips!“Trips outside the home are really important to us at The Pines” said Shirlene, Activities Coordinator at the home. “We know that a trip to somewhere new and exciting can assist with our resident’s wellbeing and so we like to offer as many trips out as possible. A trip to the seaside is always a firm favourite as residents enjoy the sea air and the delicious fish and chips on offer.”Aside from regular visits to local attractions, residents at The Pines care home in Putney undertake a variety of activities throughout the year. Zoolab make regular visits to the home and local entertainers visit the home on a weekly basis. “We keep our Activities provision diverse and varied” said Shirlene, Activities Coordinator at the home; “This helps to engage all our residents and keep things interesting. Something one person may love, another may not want to be involved in, and so with a broad range of activities on offer there really is something for everyone.”The Pines Care Home in Putney offers nursing and residential care for up to 42 elderly residents in a beautiful, charming home with a delightful atmosphere. The home is situated in a vibrant area of Putney and has a real ‘home from home’ ambience.
