Joy as Roger the Parrot Returns to Laverstock!
Laverstock Care Centre residents were overjoyed to welcome back to the Home, Roger the parrot. Roger used to be a regular visitor to the home in Salisbury and now with restrictions lifting, he made a welcome return.
Residents at Laverstock adore Roger and were so thrilled to see him back visiting. Roger blew everyone a kiss and it made the residents’ day when they got to see him again. There are so many positive benefits of being around animals and certainly a ‘character’ like Roger will bring some joy and humour into a home.
Liz – one of Laverstock’s much loved nurses and proud owner of Roger the parrot – goes above and beyond for her residents and brings Roger in to visit with them on her days off.
Laverstock is a spacious and modern care home located in Salisbury. It has 80 bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms and is beautifully furnished, with a range of comfortable lounges as well as a hair salon.
