Firework spectacular at Sanford House

5th November 2012

Hot on the heels of a splendid Halloween at Sanford House, Bonfire night also went with a bang as a spectacular firework display was put on by the Norfolk home.

Due to particularly cold weather, residents watched the dazzling display from the comfort of the communal lounge or bedroom windows. Almost everyone enjoyed the impressive fireworks, the only exception being Sandy the dog who wasn’t too keen on the loud bangs.

After the display residents enjoyed eating some traditional hot dogs as they deliberated over which was the best firework.

Located in the attractive market town of Dereham, Sanford House is a modern purpose-built home providing nursing care and specialist dementia care for up to 40 elderly people. Sanford House is one of our retirement homes in Norfolk and has been specifically designed to create an accessible and safe environment for elderly residents who may have mobility problems.
