Finalists at Hampshire Care Awards 2018
The well-being / activities co-ordinator at East Hill House Care Home in Liss Charlene Rosewarne was nominated for the Residential Newcomer of the Year category at the Hampshire Care Awards. Following her nomination she was lucky enough to become a finalist and got invited to the awards ceremony evening.
Charlene and Sam Booty (Home Manager at East Hill House) along with a friend of the care home were invited to Winchester Guild Hall on Friday 30th November for a delicious three course meal followed by a DJ. They along with everyone involved with the awards had a great night celebrating all the success stories and awards that were handed out throughout the evening.
When asked about her nomination and then being chosen as a finalist Charlene said...
"Since starting at East Hill House in January of this year, I can officially say I love coming to work, it is so rewarding and great to be working with a great manager and team who are all so passionate about delivering a high standard of care and support. To be a finalist in the Hampshire Care Awards was a massive surprise and very overwhelming."
