Bugsy MaGNOME helps at The Orchard for Good Care Month

The Orchard Nursing Home in St Albans had the pleasure of having Bugsy MaGNOME from HCPA - Hertfordshire Care Providers Association - for a short stay to promote ‘Good Care Month’.

Bugsy got involved all over the home with tasks helping members of the care team. Our hostesses duties were made lighter as he helped serve tea and cakes to our wonderful residents, our administrator had an extra pair of hands as he helped by taking notes for her and he took a duster to help our housekeeper make sure the home was sparkling.

Bugsy went on to spend time with the residents reading with Ena in the garden, helping with the tuck shop rounds, although we think he ate more than he gave out! - and most of all getting involved in our ‘my world rocks’ event we are running throughout the summer painting stones.
