Bonjour from Blenheim Court
The team at Blenheim Court care home have enjoyed adding travel and culture to their daily life by taking the residents to a different country every month without them having to leave the comfort of the home. Last month they landed in France, enjoying a range of activities based around the theme including quizzes and arts and crafts.
The home had a celebration for Bastille day, where the wonderful team got into the spirit of the day by dressing up. An activity table was setup and everyone got involved in a French quiz, where a few things were learnt about the country, culture, landmarks and history.
Any celebration is not complete without fine food and drink to enjoy. The residents sipped French wine and loved the range of food including croissants, pastries and a selection of French cheeses, all put together by the in house hospitality team.
