Our local area
Norfolk is known for its incredible coastline and sites of significant historical interest. The area is most famous for the Norfolk Broads, some 125-miles of navigable waterways and many areas of outstanding natural beauty.
We operate an open visiting policy at Ivy Court, where residents can share visits with loved ones at the times that are most convenient for them. We have separate spaces available for private parties, as well as for special family occasions, so please get in touch if you would like to find out more.
Residential care offers housing for those living independently who wish to reside in an environment with other people as companions and friends. Support is on hand if required, but personal care is not a constant need.
Dementia care is provided in both residential and nursing care settings. Dementia carers and nurses are trained to offer this specialist type of care and ensure that all care needs are met in either setting.
Temporary accommodation with appropriate levels of care support based on a person’s physical and emotional needs. Duration ranges from one week to several months, whereby the resident intends to return home.
Accommodation with appropriate levels of care support based on a person’s physical and emotional needs. Rooms may be fully decorated by the resident with some small furniture items brought in to personalise the room.
The health and wellbeing of our residents is our number one priority and we take feedback from the CQC very seriously. Our Senior Management Team, the Home Manager and the care team have been working to address points raised during the inspection.
A great deal of work has already been done and we are confident we have a full plan in place to address the concerns raised. We look forward to welcoming the CQC back to the home soon, so they can see how much positive progress there has been.
