Key Information

We make sure each resident experiences care that's as unique as they are. Which is why we offer a range of care types and duration for individuals or couples.

You'll be in good company this autumn

Book a respite stay for peace of mind

Our short respite stays can provide a crucial break for carers to do daily chores, go on holiday or simply have some well-earned time off whilst residents often enjoy the chance to meet new people and try out new activities.

If your loved one has spent time in hospital as a result of a fall, an operation or a major illness, convalescent care provides care and support to help them feel like themselves again.

Residents may be admitted to a care home from the community without needing to complete a 14-day self-isolation period, if they satisfy the requirements. Please ask for details.

Families we’re helping

Keeping things personal

At Gildawood Court

The homely surroundings at Gildawood Court are matched by the standard of care our team brings residents. We love learning as much as we can about the people we care for, so your loved one’s time is tailored to their individual needs, interests and preferences. This can be as small as knowing when they like to wake up, to how they like their tea, and everything in between.

We give as much independence as possible, letting individuals choose how to run the home and if they prefer dinner in front of the TV, or even dusting their own room, we’ll make it happen. Just as putting their own stamp on their bedroom, we’ll help them to personalise it with the things they love.

Keep doing what you love

At Gildawood Court, there’s something to tickle everyone’s fancy – from the craft room to the hair salon or our schedule of events and activities. And if residents prefer to spend one-on-one time with a member of the team, they can read the paper, pop to the shops or have a pint in the local pub. We have strong connections with the Nuneaton community, many of our residents invite them to join in our activities or even run their own here.

Meet the Team

You’ll find the team here are passionate about meeting every individual’s needs, going out of their way to make Gildawood Court a place residents can call their own. Our team includes nurses and carers experienced in all types of care.

Hayley Rix

Home Manager

I first started my career in care in 2005 and have managed various care settings. As a team ensuring our residents receive the best care possible and that their needs and wants are listened to and met is most important.

Sharon Cosford

I have worked in admin and payroll for most of my life. I love my job here because I get the opportunity to interact with our residents, as well as help keep the home running smoothly. The management are supportive and everyone is friendly.

Amy Baggott

Wellbeing Co-ordinator

I love getting to make a difference to our residents’ lives by ensuring they have a variety of activities to keep them engaged and to maintain their physical and mental well-being. I enjoy spending quality time with my residents.

Lisa Southall

Wellbeing Co-ordinator

Coming to work is a joy as I get to engage with my residents and spend quality time with them. Finding suitable activities is a challenge, but fun as I can ‘think outside the box’ and make them person-centred to have a positive impact.
