Keeping things personal
At Coppice Lea
The wonderful surroundings at Coppice Lea are matched by the standard of care our team brings residents. We love learning as much as we can about the people we care for, so your loved one’s time is tailored to their individual needs, interests and preferences. This can be as small as knowing when they like to wake up, to how they like their tea, and everything in between.
We give as much independence as possible, letting individuals choose how to run the home and if they prefer dinner in front of the TV, or even dusting their own room, we’ll make it happen. Just as putting their own stamp on their bedroom, we’ll help them to personalise it with the things they love.
Every need catered for
Mealtimes are an important part of daily life at Coppice Lea. We know eating well and the social experience of dining are key to health and wellbeing. Our chefs select a different menu each day, creating lots of home-cooked dishes with fresh ingredients to choose from. Using their in-depth knowledge of nutrition, they cater for any special diets and needs.
Keep doing what you love
At Coppice Lea, there’s something for everyone – from arts and crafts to the hair salon, our packed schedule of events and activities, to walks in the grounds. And if residents prefer to spend one-on-one time with a member of the team, they can read the paper, pop to the shops or just have a chat. We have strong connections with the Merstham community, many of our residents invite them to join in our activities or even run their own here.
You'll be in good company this winter

Book a respite stay for peace of mind
Over four million older people in the UK say they feel lonely and lack the friendship and support which we all need. Our respite and permanent stays offer the chance to see some new faces and try out some new things with as much or as little support as you need.
During this unprecedented time, many residents have chosen us for peace of mind so they feel safe in the knowledge that care and support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week should they need it, as well as staying connected. Whether you're looking for permanent care or a respite stay, ask us about our latest availability in our homes and the extra things we are doing to keep our residents, families and teams safe.
Neema Clinton
I am a Nurse by profession previously working in general nursing, cardio vascular and as a midwife in a number of hospitals. In 2006 I moved into the care sector, working in nursing homes gradually working my way up the ladder as a Senior Nurse, to a Clinical Lead and then as a Deputy Manager at Coppice Lea.
Taking care of people is extremely important to me. I lead my compassionate Care Team in delivering the highest level of residential and nursing care for our elderly residents. I ensure that the home maintains a stimulating and encouraging environment for our residents, whilst supporting all of our colleagues to provide expert quality care. I really enjoy being a Home Manager, caring for people and sharing knowledge with my valued colleagues.
I feel that the Caring Homes philosophy matches up well with my own beliefs on care provision, and I am committed to ensuring that all our residents continue to receive the high levels of care and protection they deserve.
