Falls Prevention Event at Tarring Manor

We’re inviting the local community, as well as residents and their families, to join us for our Falls Prevention event, providing practical information, guidance, and support in an accessible and welcoming setting.
Come and hear from our expert guest speaker, physiotherapist Raj from Therapies on Thames, who will be talking about falls and how these can be prevented. The session will explore the following:
✅ Role of Physiotherapy in mobility, balance, and falls prevention, including ways to stay safe and gentle exercises to help promote health and balance.
✅ Role of Occupational Therapy in daily living, routines, and adaptive strategies
You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions, learn about the care we offer at Tarring Manor Care Home, and tour the home. Enjoy tea, coffee, and complimentary sweet treats freshly baked by our Head Chef.
