Dementia Action Week
Join us for a fun and informative week at Whittington House Care Home where we will be raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society and the charity, Music for Memories.
You’ll have the chance to win a Marks and Spencer hamper in our raffle and enjoy complimentary cakes and coffee from our pop-up café.
Monday 18 May – Sunday 24 May: Memory Aides For Activities
We’ll be open for you to have the opportunity to see the aids that help those living with Dementia, including robotic cats and dogs, aqua painting, jigsaw puzzles and much more.
Tuesday 19 May, 2.00pm - 3.00pm: Dementia Peer Group
Join our Dementia Peer Group, a friendly and supportive environment where anyone can chat about dementia in a group.
Tuesday 19 May, 3.00pm - 4.30pm: Dementia Information Session
An interactive and friendly session allowing participants to learn more about dementia held by Jackie Chelin from Cheltenham Dementia Action Alliance.
Thursday 21 May, 2.00pm - 4.00pm: Top of the World
Mini Concerts will be performing their ‘Enjoying the Carpenters’ at the home for the enjoyment of the residents and team, and you’re welcome to join us.
