Rememberance Day at Guysfield

11th November 2015

The residents at Guysfield Care Home got creative for Remembrance Day.

Not only did our residents enjoy an arts and crafts session which saw them produce a lovely large size poppy of different textures, their choice of words helped them share emotions with each other, which in turn aided their overall well-being. Rather than it being a day that only brought sadness for many of them, they shared happy and fond memories too, as well as dealing with sad memories together-and not alone.
