"I highly recommend Sanford House care home through the pure excellent care for my elderly neighbour. I have seen such a big improvement through her time here. Not only is the care good but it is always clean and tidy and not to warm like other care homes." -

"My mother has only been a resident a few weeks but she is very happy, looked after well and treated with dignity and respect, as well as being given lots of TLC. There are many activities, and very good one to one from members of the staff to the residents. I would recommend the home to anyone wishing to consider this for ongoing care." -

"My mother went into Sanford House on December 24 2013 (Xmas Eve). She was made very welcome by the staff. Obviously, we went to see her Xmas Day, she had a visit from Mother & Father Christmas, even a tube of hand cream. Mum had dinner in her room, it was a lovely looking meal, we were even asked if we would like a dinner, it was a wonderful start for us as well as mum. She has her off days, but mostly happy!" -

"Very impressed with positive attitude to life for everyone, even when as a family we were thinking dad's life would not be much any more. Also pleased with the level of detail in the care plans and their attitude of really finding out about the person in their care especially since he has dementia so its not a straightforward process. Kind, friendly, positive, careful and caring. Security all round." -

"My father has recently been transferred from Hammerton Court at the Julian Hospital in Norwich. He has severe dementia and we visited a couple of care homes with EMI nursing facilities. The positive and welcoming atmosphere of Sanford House stood out as did the quality of professionalism of the staff on duty. We turned up unannounced to get a first hand impression of the home. Immediately we knew we had found a home which would cater for my fathers needs with dignity." -

"The staff are outstanding and dedicated to their care and personal attention to all the residents, they are all really nice to residents. The home is kept as clean as possibly can be due to the nature of the illness, any mishaps always cleaned up as soon as possible. Food is always lovely and every resident is looked after very well making sure everybody has food and doesn't get missed. The carers do a marvellous job and I feel it is a well run care home..." -

"My husband has been a resident of Sanford House for eight weeks, following seventeen weeks in hospital, after he suffered a massive stroke. He was severely disabled and finding it difficult to communicate. Our choice of Sanford House was influenced by the feeling of homeliness in contrast to a hospital ward. The home is very attractively presented, bright and cheerful, clean and comfortable. The staff are always friendly and prepared to answer any questions..." -

"Sanford House has provided excellent care to my father-in-law. The staff are outstanding and go that extra mile showing compassion, maintaining dignity and ensuring a happy, jovial atmosphere for all. Sandy (rescue dog) is a star and was the selling point for us as a family when it came to choosing a care home (along with Joan's (manager) time spent with is showing us around and answering all our questions with patience and understanding)." -

"Sanford House has a very friendly atmosphere. Staff and management are very willing and helpful. Facilities are very good although some rooms need updating. The home is kept very clean. The kitchen provides good and enjoyable food and drink. Staff try to give residents a range of activities to aid and help them. Safety and security seems equip to cover the situation." -
