The First Antiques Event at Belmont House

Belmont House Nursing Home in Sutton held its first Antiques event on Friday 9th November. Over 30 residents, relatives and members of the public attended the event. Michael Laikin who has been in the Antiques business since the 1960s gave an entertaining talk, which was well received. After the talk Michael evaluated antiques brought along by the attendees. Guests and residents were treated to a selection of delicious cakes and biscuits, prepared by the catering staff.

Lidia de Lima, the Activities Coordinator and Arthur Tanare, the Care Home Manager would like to express their sincere thanks to all the staff at Belmont House for their support. Without them this event would have not been the success it was. A special big thank you to Liam, our maintenance manager and Doris, Head Chef.
