Short breaks or respite care provide carers with an opportunity to take a summer holiday or simply spend some time looking after their own needs, providing peace of mind that their loved ones will receive the very best care and hospitality.
Many of our residents take regular short breaks with us and discover they are able to enjoy the chance to meet new people and try out a few new activities and experiences. Residents can chose to be pampered and or simply unwind with care and wellbeing packages which offer every opportunity to relax, refresh and revitalise.
All of our homes offer excellent facilities, but it’s the highly skilled, caring and dedicated teams of care workers, nurses, support staff, specialists and managers who make the overwhelming difference. They continuously go above and beyond in providing superb care for residents – a fact that is recognised by our resident and family testimonials.
We are providing a number of seasonal activities throughout spring and encourage members of the local community to come and visit us, take a look round, participate in events and discover how the team work together encouraging and supporting residents to lead as full and active a life as they are able, within a flourishing, friendly environment.
Older members of the community need not be alone this summer and we are encouraging members of the community to discover our short breaks, hospitality and community events that are on offer and be part of the vibrant atmosphere in our home.

“My mother-in-law received respite care as a resident for 3 weeks. Our need was urgent and the Manager was very responsive, understanding and clearly very experienced, making a home visit to assess her requirements on the day following my first visit. A room was made available to her within days. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming, helping her to settle in. At all times, they were professional and responded quickly to her needs. She was encouraged to participate in the many activities on offer. Residents’ rooms are spacious and all public areas are clean, bright and cheerful.”
