Laverstock hold a Parkinson’s coffee morning

5th March 2016
On Tuesday 5th March residents at Laverstock Care Centre had the opportunity to get involved in a Parkinson’s coffee morning, held on the ground floor at the home. Parkinson’s coffee mornings are popular with our residents and are held around three times a year, with the aim to help raise money for Parkinson’s UK.The morning incorporates a raffle, tea, coffee and cake, which all go towards making a really enjoyable event. Music was provided by our Activity Coordinator, who played the piano and the event managed to raise over £50. Residents particularly enjoyed the cake, which went down very well!Helen Pessell, Home Manager said; “At Laverstock, we love to get involved with the local community as much as possible and our residents really enjoy meeting new people, who they spent the morning chatting to.”
