Hulcott Sixties Garden Party Success

Hulcott Care Home held a Sixties themed Garden Party on Saturday the 25th of July, attended by the friends and family of residents and staff.

Over 50 people turned out on the day and the local Aylesbury Tesco’s were also in attendance, kindly serving up fresh strawberries and cream to everyone at the event.

Hulcott Carer, Aleks, painting the face of event guest KatieMike Gee, a regular entertainer at Hulcott, sang 60’s songs to help set the scene. A special marquee was erected in the garden for the occasion, ensuring that there would be plenty of protection from the elements come rain or shine.

Members of the Care Team provided face painting services and ran stalls to provide extra entertainment for all the attendees. There was also a raffle, with a hamper and voucher generously donated by the local Tesco’s store.

A total of £406.50 was raised for the Residents’ Fund – which will help to make the care home’s next event even more spectacular still!
