Hawkhill House’s Platinum Jubilee Party a Success
Residents and their families at Hawkhill House Care Home celebrated the Platinum Jubilee by throwing a garden party. The home was decorated for the occasion in patriotic Union Jack flags and bunting in honour of Her Majesty.
The team at Hawkhill House spent time outside, enjoying some delicious party food and refreshments made by our own catering team. As part of the celebrations, we all enjoyed some live music and having a bit of a dance.
Earlier this year Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee. This marked her 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.
We all had a lovely day, enjoying the entertainment and the party was a real triumph. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who joined us and supported us to make it such a wonderful occasion for our residents and their families.
To celebrate this unprecedented anniversary, events have been taking place across the country over and we thoroughly enjoyed being part of those celebrations at Hawkhill House.
