Fun for all at Guysfields summer fete

There was fun for young and old at a care home on the outskirts of Letchworth at the weekend as it held its annual summer fête.

There was outdoor fun including a barbecue, tea and cake, face-painting and more on Sunday afternoon at Guysfield Care Home in Willian.

Residents, guests and the care team also enjoyed entertainment in the form of live music and a tombola – as a handy sum was raised to fund future activities at the home.

Home manager Pawel Michalewicz said “It was a really lovely day for our residents. We’ve raised more than £200, which is going to be used for residents’ activities here at Guysfield Care Home. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who participated and got involved on the day. It was a great day for our residents, their relatives and our staff.”

Guysfield provides residential care in a beautifully converted Country House  for up to 49 elderly people in the conservation village of Willian.
