Dean Gee live at Coxhill Manor

Recently Coxhill Manor residents and team were delighted to welcome singer and entertainer Dean Gee to our home in Woking, Surrey for a musical extravaganza.

Dean delighted his Coxhill audience with an authentic musical show filled with all our favourite classic songs from artists such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Tom Jones, to name but a few. Dean got everybody involved in his show with lots of banter, singing along with the  music, dancing and really adding the personal touch to his performance.

We can see why he has the reputation as one of the best ‘Swing and Rat Pack’ entertainers in the UK!

His grand finale of ‘New York, New York’ saw Sandra, Simona, Nazia and Hannah becoming his backing dancers. It was great to see members of the team joining in with our residents too.

Olive, one of our residents loved the show so much she now has a signed picture of Dean up in her room. Safe to say Dean left us all with memories we will treasure forever.

Special thanks to Sandra our Head of Activities for booking Dean. She had saw him perform at her Christmas Day Lunch at a nearby hotel and she loved the performance so much, she knew it was exactly what we would all love here at Coxhill Manor and she got his business card and booked him.

At Coxhill Manor care home in Woking we provide residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 58 residents.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
To Whom it may concern,

RE: A message from the CEO and Clinical Director

At Caring Homes we are following the latest Government advice and stopping visitors to all our homes, except for essential visits by healthcare professionals who will be required to adhere to strict protocols.

We understand that this may be very difficult for families but we are clear in our duty to ensure we protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our Residents and Colleagues as our top priority.

We want you to know that you can contact your loved ones through calls, emails, video and social media and we will support our Residents to view any messages you send over. We are confident that the teams in our homes are doing all they can to ensure that life remains as comfortable and sociable as possible. There will be a full programme of activities delivered by our in-house health and wellbeing teams.

We hope you will understand and support these actions and any further subsequent measures we might need to put in place.

Yours sincerely
