Caring Homes Award Shortlist Success

Following a series of recent prestigious award shortlists, Caring Homes Group, has now been shortlisted for the National Care Awards.

Service excellence across their business is a strong part of the Caring Homes ethos, that’s why the team are delighted to be shortlisted for Care Homes Group, and Lifetime Achievement, for their founder Helena Jeffrey. Their MD, Laird MacKay, explains: “This is further testament to the hard work and dedication our teams provide 365 days of the year 24/7. Once again we would like to thank our amazing care teams for all of their support: our business would be nothing without our people.”

Caring Homes’ Jo Madejowska has also been shortlisted for Dementia Care Manager at the awards. Jo has been at the home for the past 15 years and has consistently shown dedication to dementia care and is passionate about improving the lives of residents.

The winners of the National Care Awards will be announced at a gala awards evening on 27 November at the Hilton London Metropole.

Caring Homes Group was established in 1994 by registered nurse Helena Jeffery and her son Paul. Since then the company has grown to become one of the most highly respected independent care and support providers in the UK.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
To Whom it may concern,

RE: A message from the CEO and Clinical Director

At Caring Homes we are following the latest Government advice and stopping visitors to all our homes, except for essential visits by healthcare professionals who will be required to adhere to strict protocols.

We understand that this may be very difficult for families but we are clear in our duty to ensure we protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our Residents and Colleagues as our top priority.

We want you to know that you can contact your loved ones through calls, emails, video and social media and we will support our Residents to view any messages you send over. We are confident that the teams in our homes are doing all they can to ensure that life remains as comfortable and sociable as possible. There will be a full programme of activities delivered by our in-house health and wellbeing teams.

We hope you will understand and support these actions and any further subsequent measures we might need to put in place.

Yours sincerely
