Brooklyn House visits Duxford Air Museum

Residents at Brooklyn House in Attleborough, enjoyed a visit to one of their favourite destinations last week.

With the sun shining and a warm breeze across the airfield everyone marveled at Duxford Air Museum.

Residents and staff took a trip back in time reminiscing and tucking into a picnic while watching aircraft take to the skies.

Resident Chris Brice, who served in the RAF said he had a wonderful time, “There is so much to see” he remarked.

Audrey and Allan, two of Brooklyn’s residents, talked about the planes. The Lancaster brought back memories for Audrey who was in the womans land army and Allan who lived in London during the war.
