Brooklyn House residents celebrate Chinese New Year

The staff and residents of Brooklyn House celebrated the Chinese New Year in style recently with a trip to their local Chinese Restaurant for a meal out.

To get in the spirit of things, they even had a go with chopsticks and many of the residents who weren’t familiar with Chinese food were pleasantly surprised with how much they liked it, as resident Ken Linstead explained:

“I didn’t think I would like it but it actually went down very nicely with a glass of wine and we all had a lovely evening.”

Brooklyn House is a modern, purpose-built care home in Norfolk that provides nursing care for up to 40 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
