Barry Peters stars at Mellish House

Mellish House played host to the popular entertainer Barry Peters this week as part of the home’s regular event schedule.

Barry wowed the staff and residents with his wide repertoire of classic songs, with one resident commenting ‘It was so good I couldn’t stop dancing!’ The residents wound down after the lively performance with some slightly more relaxing tea and cakes.

Situated in the peaceful village of Great Cornard, Mellish House is a purpose built home providing residential care for up to 48 elderly people living with dementia.
