The Orchard’s Holy Communion

A monthly event on The Orchard’s calendar. Every first Friday of the month, Father jimmy visits The Orchard Nursing Home to give a service to those Residents who would like to attend.

This month Father Jimmy read prayers with the residents and gave those wishing for, a holy communion. Those residents unable to attend the service, Father Jimmy visited their rooms individually to give them holy communion and their own, personal service.

This helps each resident feel like they are able to move to the home, but no lose touch with their faith. Father Jimmy also gives the residents another friendly face to talk to, helping residents stay interacted, feel valued and reassured during their time at The Orchard Nursing Home.
