What matters to you this New Year?

Do you care for a loved one? Are you thinking of making changes to their care this New Year?

Caring for a loved one can be all-consuming and now that the festive season is over if you need to take some time away from your everyday caring role, respite care at a reputable care home is a reassuring option.

At Caring Homes our network of homes across the country offer day care, respite and short stays. Just come in and talk to our home manager to find out how we can help you and the person that you care for.

Julie Mason, Senior Operations Director said; “We understand how difficult it can be for families and carers to take a break so if you need time this New Year to focus on yourself or other family members, we can find a solution to help you.

“Or many people notice over the Christmas period when families tend to spend more time together that your relative’s care needs have changed – whatever the situation, it is well worth talking to us.

“At all of our of homes we provide dignified and respectful care and make every effort to ensure the needs of all our residents are met. Short stays can be arranged for a few hours, a few days, or a few weeks and we can provide a bespoke service to match both residents’ lifestyle aspirations and healthcare needs.”

Respite care offers you the opportunity to spend some time away. Our care is given with warmth and respect, by professionals who take time to get to know residents and help them enjoy their stay with us as fully as they can. You’ll have peace of mind, knowing your elderly relative is in safe hands, with specialist care in beautiful surroundings.

What’s included –

  • Full personalised assessment of care needs
  • Individual care plan delivered by trained staff
  • A choice of activities and outings to enjoy
  • All meals: nutritious, delicious and freshly prepared by our chefs

Many of our short stay residents return regularly, appreciating the well-managed and friendly home from home atmosphere. There’s a full programme of events and activities to look forward to and participate in too, offering stimulation and the opportunity to make new friends.

We also provide convalescent care, to help people who need to recuperate after a hospital stay and to support them until they are well enough to return home.
