The Home that Rocks

Heffle Court welcomed some of their loudest visitors so far this year as members of the much-coveted ‘Rock Choir’ took centre stage to entertain the residents and staff.

The Daughter and Granddaughter of resident Ken Osborne were joined by some of their fellow choir members in performing a number of upbeat songs that soon had everyone singing along and dancing to the contagious music.

According to the Rock Choir website:

‘Rock Choir was created in 2005 and the phenomenon has spread across the UK, using contemporary well-known hit songs with an exhilarating range of original vocal arrangements and performance elements which appeal to both the member taking part and the audience watching.’

Such was the success of the evening; the Rock Choir has been invited back by popular demand for a special Christmas performance.

Located in the East Sussex market town of Heathfield, Heffle Court is a purpose-built care home providing specialist care for 32 elderly residents living with a form of dementia.
