“That’s magic!” At Rectory House

Friends and relatives joined the residents of Rectory House in Sompting in being treated to an afternoon of magic and entertainment, courtesy of Marco the Magician.

There was magic and music galore with reams of scarves, balloon modelling and comedy on the interactive bill. The highlight of the show however was when Marmite the white rabbit appeared from Marco’s top hat. All the Residents had an opportunity to stroke Marmite and it made their day.

Jackie Cox, Rectory House Manager, said:

“The residents love Marco’s magic shows and talk about it for days afterwards. It is inspiring that those Residents who do not usually participate in activities, always attend Marco’s shows. It is so varied that he does something for everyone.

It was good to see the residents enjoying the show with their friends and relatives. Marmite the rabbit definitely stole the show and everyone wanted to stroke him. They all had big smiles on their faces and it really adds to the homely, happy atmosphere here at Rectory House.”
Rectory House provides residential and nursing support for up to 41 people in the village of Sompting, West Sussex.
