Sunflower contest gets summer started at Bradbury House

Friday 25th AprilSummer started early at Bradbury House this week as the residents embarked on a bit of friendly competition to see who can grow the tallest sunflower.

In preparation for planting the rest of the home’s picturesque garden, many of the residents planted their own sunflower seed in a small pot and got it ready to grow. Once planted, the pots were labelled and placed together as the competition commenced to see who could grow the tallest flower. The residents are now looking forward to planting the rest of the garden with an array of equally colourful flora and fauna.

Situated at the heart of the historic town of Braintree, Bradbury House was the very first home in the Caring Homes family and enjoys an enviable reputation for delivering the very highest standard of residential care in a homely environment for up to 21 elderly people.
