Summer BBQ fun – Caribbean style!

Brightly coloured flower garlands and rum punch set the colourful scene for the first of our Summer BBQS at Coxhill Manor care home in Woking .

Residents, staff and families embraced the Caribbean spirit and welcomed our Reggae Singer to kick off the day.   He performed in the conservatory and got everyone joining in. Staff were up dancing and having a good time much to the residents delight!

An outstanding Caribbean Style BBQ was served alfresco – with brightly coloured bunting, balloons and flowers adding the Caribbean touch.   And no Caribbean themed day would be complete without steel drums –   which provided the perfect musical interlude during lunch.

After everyone had eaten our Reggae Singer continued to entertain outside – while our residents enjoyed the atmosphere, the beautiful weather, the dancing, good company and of course more rum punch!

At Coxhill Manor care home in Woking we provide residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 58 residents.
