Strathview Care Home Receives Caring Award

Linda Ritchie, a Support Worker at Strathview care home in Auchtermuchty, has won the Care & Support Award in Caring Homes’ Scottish Recognition Awards.

She was nominated for the award because of her exemplary skills and dedication which recognise the responsibility and rewards that come with caring for others.

The award was presented at a ceremony recently, recognising and celebrating excellence amongst Caring Homes’ seven Scottish homes. Situated on Carswell Wynd, Strathview provides residential care for up to 25 elderly people

Margaret Choudry, Home Manager at Strathview, said: “Linda is a key member of the team who shows a strong commitment to her work, developing herself and others around her.”

In addition, three members of the Strathview care team were awarded long-service certificates and vouchers for their contribution to the success of the home. They are: Home Manager Margaret Choudry, 21 years; Carer Linda Ritchie, 16 years; and Senior Support Worker Linda Coull, 16 years.
