St Patricks Day Arts and Crafts at Bradbury House

This week at Bradbury House we have been doing arts and crafts and getting ready for St. Patrick’s Day, in the pictures we have Irene, Leonard, Lillian and Margaret who joined in with painting the four leaf clovers and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We still have the pots of gold, the leprechaun and also speech bubbles to do next week. The residents are coming up with Irish phrases which they will be writing in the speech bubbles such as “top of the morning to ya”.

The activity provided a sense of achievement for them all, and coming up with the phrases caused a real bustle of entertainment. Doing these arts and crafts help the residents come together and develop friendships with each other, providing much conversation.

This is all helping us get into the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day and the residents cannot wait to celebrate with the party we have planned.
