Special delivery for Miranda House

Christmas came early for Miranda House this week as insurer LV= donated a brand new 50 inch television to the Royal Wootton Bassett home.

While the residents take part in a number of activities, they also like to relax by watching films and their favourite programmes. Pat Shaw, Manager of Miranda House, said:

‘We are extremely grateful for the generous donation from LV=. Our residents particularly enjoy their film afternoons, so this TV will allow them to relax in comfort and watch their favourite performances on the big screen.’

Peter Horton, Chief Operating Officer at LV=, added:

‘We are really pleased to go out and buy this brand new television for all the residents and staff at Miranda House. The people there do a fantastic job of looking after the residents and we hope everyone will enjoy watching their favourite films this Christmas on the new TV.’

Miranda House is a modern purpose-built home providing specialist nursing and dementia care support for up to 65 elderly residents in the heart of the historic Wiltshire town of Royal Wootton Bassett.
