RSPB Big Garden Bird Watch at East Hill Hosue

East Hill House took part in this year’s RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch. The birdwatching event takes part in every corner of the UK and asks people to count birds for an hour in their garden. The idea behind this is to discover how nature is doing around the UK.

The staff and Residents were excited to get involved in the event and kept a look out in our gardens to see if we had any common Birds, they also played the memory game using pictures of common birds found in British Gardens, this prompted the residents to reminisce and talk about birds who used to visit their gardens.

We will start to look at what we can do in our gardens to provide a safe place to feed and live, this should provide us with some fun projects over the year.
