Royal Ascot Art Class at Tall Trees

Residents at Tall Trees enjoyed their monthly Art Class this week and this time the theme was Royal Ascot. We had 9 residents and a few relatives joining us even though we started the session at 10.00am. Everybody was very excited at what the session would involve.

Our residents took their work very serious and everybody wanted their horse to be a winner. After a well-deserved coffee break the race started. It was very tight. All horses were very good but in the end the winner was Alsop, Monica’s horse.

After that the surprise was even bigger. As special guests, The Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip themselves gave the winning horse’s owner a special prize.

Monica said:
“That was amazing. I am so happy that my horse won. Having the Queen and the Prince here that just made my day!”

It was a lovely morning full of fun and surprises. Everybody enjoyed it very much.
