Rendlesham’s Dementia Champion gives WI talk

A member of the Rendlesham staff team met with ladies from a local Women’s Institute group this week to raise awareness of dementia in the community. Having recently completed her training to become a Dementia Champion, Activities Coordinator Pearl Lloyd-Smith was pleased to have the opportunity to raise awareness of dementia in the local community. Such was the success of the talk, that Pearl has been invited back to give another talk to more members of the group. Rendlesham Care Home is run by the family-owned Caring Homes Group, which has care homes across the UK. The purpose-built home provides nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 60 elderly people.
