Remembrance project gets underway East Hill House

Throughout October and November, the residents and staff of East Hill House are taking part in a community project to commemorate 100 years since the outbreak of The First World War. They will be joining the local infant and junior schools, brownies and village residents to make poppies in memory of those who fought in the conflict, as well as spending time with the local children to discuss the war.All of the individual poppies will contribute to a large mural, which will be presented to the village at the local church on Remembrance Sunday. Located in the village of Liss, East Hill House provides high quality residential and specialist dementia care for up to 35 elderly people in a unique setting.
