Rain can’t dampen spirits on the Norfolk Broads
Posted on Thursday 29th May
The residents of Cedar House took to the picturesque Norfolk Broads this week thanks to the Nancy Oldfield Trust.
In all, twelve of the residents made the journey to enjoy a day aboard the specially adapted motor cruiser. Despite the inclement weather, everyone was in high spirits as they took time to enjoy and fish and chip lunch before heading back to base to escape the rain.
The Nancy Oldfield Trust was established as a charity in 1984 and has now been providing water-based activities for disabled and disadvantaged people for 30 years.
Situated in the peaceful village of Yelverton, Cedar House care home provides residential and nursing care for up to 24 elderly people.
