Party in the park for Bradbury House residents

The staff, residents and relatives of Bradbury House took advantage of the good spring weather this week with a stroll to the nearby Bocking Community Gardens to listen to the brass band.
The chef prepared a picnic tea and sitting in the sunshine, everyone enjoyed the music amongst friends and loved ones. Many also enjoyed the gardens’ large variety of shrubs.
The staff and residents regularly visit the gardens, which are set in five acres of land and has a selection of over 250 different trees and plants, many of which were just coming into bloom for the visit.
Resident Alan Phillpott said:
‘It was a wonderful afternoon, we all really enjoyed it and the music topped the day off nicely.’

Situated at the heart of the historic town of Braintree, Bradbury House was the very first home in the Caring Homes family and enjoys an enviable reputation for delivering the very highest standard of residential care in a homely environment for up to 21 elderly people.
