Orchid’s talent lights up Abbeycrest

The residents of Abbeycrest were delighted to welcome a talented young musician to perform for them this week.

Eight-year-old Orchid Harvey has been playing violin for nearly four years and lit up the Oxfordshire home with her talented recital. Not content with practising for an hour each day in preparation for her grade five violin exam, Orchid also hopes to take up the piano soon as well.

The residents were very impressed with Orchid’s performance and having listened to her whilst enjoying tea and cakes, they presented her with a teddy bear and a voucher as a token of their appreciation.

Located in the quiet village of Sonning Common, Abbeycrest offers exceptional residential, nursing and dementia care in the heart of the Chilterns.
