Oaken Holt’s ‘Spooktacular’ Halloween party

A ‘spooktacular’ party took place at Oaken Holt this week as the residents and staff got firmly into the Halloween spirit. The Halloween party was enjoyed by a number of relatives and visiting children, who took part in a variety of games including ‘pear bobbing’ and ‘pin the spider on the web’. The party-goers were also treated to a host of Halloween treats such as spooky biscuits, pumpkin soup and witchy cupcakes, which were devoured by everyone under the watchful eye of the residents’ giant spider creation, Bob. Set within 23 acres of beautiful gardens and parklands in the heart of Oxfordshire, Oaken Holt is a magnificent country estate in the peaceful village of Farmoor offering residential and nursing care of the very highest standard for up to 55 ladies and gentlemen.
