Now you see them now you don’t at Guysfield

The residents at Guysfield care home in Letchworth enjoyed a rendition of Dick Whittington in the run up to Christmas.

A superb production of Dick Whittington by Red Gate Productions was enjoyed immensely by residents, staff and visitors at Guysfield. The home was filled with the sounds of laughter, singing and excitement, although this was also followed with plenty of boos and sympathy as the story unraveled. The Pantomime was thoroughly entertaining, and we all admired the costume changes that were involved, we have n idea how they happened so quickly!

The residents, families and care team sung and danced together in the living room to round off the afternoon. We all enjoyed well earned beverages, cakes and biscuits which also helped soften the disappointment that the show couldn’t go on.

Guysfield provides residential care in a beautifully converted Country House  for up to 49 elderly people in the conservation village of Willian.
