New minibus just the ticket for scenic day out

Residents from Bradbury House tested out the home’s brand new minibus recently as they took a scenic countryside trip where they enjoyed a traditional pub lunch.

The residents have been keen to take the new minibus for a spin and Gosfield proved the perfect escape for the day. The village is known for its beautiful lakes, picturesque village centre and is a tourist hotspot.

Despite the miserable weather, residents Diana Morgan, Louisa Hodson, Patricia Devonport, Jim Hickman and Amy Webber, all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The day was topped off with a sing-along on the way home.

Located in the heart of the historic town of Braintree, Bradbury House was the very first home in the Caring Homes family. The home dates in part from the 17th century and, following a comprehensive and sympathetic conversion, retains many original features whilst also providing an outstanding residential care setting. Bradbury House enjoys an enviable reputation for delivering the very highest standard of residential care in a homely and friendly environment for up to 21 elderly people.
