‘Music for Health’

Staff and residents at Dormy House in Sunningdale got into the groove recently as they welcomed a team from ‘Music for Health’ to deliver an entertaining afternoon of singing and playing an array of musical instruments.

New Dormy House Manager, Janet Varndell commented:

“The session was brilliant. We run a wide variety of activities to suit our residents’ interests, and music is always near the top of the list. The music put on was infectious and it ended up feeling like a big party with some residents getting up and dancing. Everyone had a great afternoon.”

Dormy House is run by family-owned Caring Homes Group, which was founded in 1994 by mother and son team, Helena and Paul Jeffery. Located in one of the most sought after residential areas in Sunningdale, adjacent to the world renowned Golf Course, the home offers residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 88 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
