Jane Starr, Home Manager at Horsell Lodge, said: “Our residents and carers so looked forward to the visit. We welcomed Mr Lord warmly at the door, and introduced him to some of our lovely residents and their families.”

She added: “Mr Lord talked to Eddy Lawther, relative of Dorothy who has been a resident at Horsell since February 2007. He then joined residents around a table for lunch, having homemade steak and ale pie which was ‘lovely’ he said.”
