Marchglen enjoys Spectacular Royal Tattoo

Marchglen residents enjoyed front row seats at the spectacle that is the Edinburgh Royal Tattoo recently.

Despite the inclement weather at the start of the evening, the residents were well wrapped up and enjoyed an evening of diverse acts from all over the world. The iconic Edinburgh Castle provided spectacular backdrop for the event and thankfully the weather improved as the evening went on, with acts including the Top Secret Drum Corps, Australian Defence Force and Highland dancers from both Scotland and Canada.

The residents particularly enjoyed playing along with the drums and thought the pipes and the traditional Scottish attire was fantastic. Although it was quite a late night with a lot of travelling the group all thought the Tattoo was a fantastic event.

Located in Fishcross, Alloa and enjoying wonderful views over the Ochil Hills, Marchglen is renowned for providing care of the very highest standard. The state of the art facility comprises four houses, each specializing in different areas of support. The Centre was recently recognised for its quality of care when it won the Specialist Care Provider category at the annual Scottish Care Awards.
