Local Childminders Visit Mill House’s Residents

Two local childminders from the surrounding villages, Samantha Stanier from Honeybourne and Tanya Chandler from Broadway, visited Mill House with the children they look after. They kindly visited just two days before Christmas so everyone was really excited! Sam introduced herself to everyone and explained how much the children had been looking forward to this visit. All the children dressed up for the occasion by wearing very Christmassy tops, hats, jumpers and outfits and looked absolutely amazing.

With the accompaniment of bells the first song sang by the children was ‘Rudolf the red nose Reindeer’ followed by ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’, ‘Away in the Manger’, ‘Silent Night’ and many more. The atmosphere couldn’t have been more festive, seeing the residents singing together with the children, parents and staff! A few of the parents came to join in with the Christmas Carols and they all dressed up in festive clothes.

The residents were delighted as they love to see young children at Mill House. The children stayed a bit longer as everyone wanted to have a photo taken with the little ones to thank them for their lovely singing.

Sam and Tanya enjoyed this visit very much and promised to be back over Easter. Everyone had a wonderful time, with a treat at the end of squash and biscuits.

All the staff and residents at Mill House would like to say a big thank you for visiting them at such a special time of year.
