Knowle Park residents enjoy the Tex-Mex treatment

The residents of Knowle Park in Cranleigh were transported west this week as the home hosted a colourful ‘Tex-Mex’ themed day.

As part of the memorable day, residents of the grand period home enjoyed a delicious Mexican themed lunch and supper in the vibrantly decorated dining room. In the afternoon, local singer Billy Hill offered a fitting tribute to Texas as he entertained staff and residents with some country and western classics.

The next theme day has already been planned and everyone at the home is looking forward to the Chinese day planned for late February as a belated celebration of the Chinese New Year.

 

Knowle Park is a magnificent early 19th century Manor House on the outskirts of Cranleigh, Surrey, that has been lovingly restored to provide residential and nursing care of distinction for up to 43 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
