Joe King visits Coppice Lea

Coppice Lea Nursing Home in Merstham, were visited by Joe King this week for an afternoon of entertainment.

Joe is a regular visitor to Coppice Lea, singing songs from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s as well as some more up to date music. He is a hit with the residents, who are always up dancing and singing along with him.

The power of music, especially singing, to unlock memories and kickstart the grey matter is an increasingly key feature of care. Joe really lifts the mood of the residents, providing reminiscence of their younger years.

We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Coppice Lea provides specialist residential, nursing and dementia care in a purpose built environment for up to 51 elderly people.
