Jack and the beanstalk at Galsworthy House

Christmas may be over but it didn’t stop the residents at Galsworthy House Nursing Home in Kingston upon Thames enjoying an hour long panto of Jack and the Bean Stalk this week.

After dinner some of the residents settled down in the dining room down stairs to enjoy the pantomime that was brought to us by a talented trio. Residents and the care team thoroughly enjoyed the performance, it coudl be seen in their faces as sung along and the actors interacted with the residents. You will see Ricky dancing with one actor in our photos, and there was plenty of banter with the care team.

There were songs such as “Food Glorious Food”, “Who Wants To Be A Millionare”, “My Way” and residents were singing and swaying to “Y-M-C-A”, the panto ended with “Good Bye” it was a fun filled panto our resident John said at the end it was a great performance and very professional.
